Sometimes the answer has nothing to do with AI. You need a portal a partner can log into. You need two platforms that were never designed to talk to each other to actually share data. You need an internal tool built around your process instead of a process bent around someone else's software. This is straightforward custom engineering, and it's most of what custom software development has always meant.
AI-Assisted Automation
When the process needs a hand, not just a home.
This is the newer half, and where most of the current excitement lives. Documents that read themselves. Intake that extracts and structures itself. Drafts and first-pass responses generated instantly, reviewed by a person before anything goes out. Exceptions surfaced immediately instead of buried in a queue. This is what AI automation actually looks like once it's built into a real workflow, not a chatbot bolted onto your website.
When You Need Both
Sometimes it's AI-native from day one. Sometimes it's just really good plumbing.
A lot of real projects are both at once. An intake portal is custom software (a purpose-built system for partners or clients) that also uses AI to read what comes through it. Neither one requires the other. We don't add AI to a build that doesn't need it just to say we did, and we don't build a plain integration when AI would genuinely save real time. Which one your project needs is part of the first conversation, not an assumption we start with.
How We Work
We start with the process, not the platform.
Most of this work starts as a conversation about a specific bottleneck. We map the actual steps someone takes today, figure out whether the fix is a build, a connection, an AI layer, or some mix of the three, and scope it around that.

This ranges from a partner portal built for a technology company we work with, to an active project building AI-assisted intake and document automation for a law office (reading incoming case documents, extracting what matters, and routing what needs attorney attention), to internal tools our own team uses day to day.
Where We Draw the Line
Real AI, built for a real problem, not a script reading from a template.
This market has a lot of "AI Employee" pitches and voice bots cold-calling on behalf of agencies that never touch your actual systems. We're not that. Every AI build starts with a specific task we can point to, and we'll say plainly when a problem is really just a custom software need wearing an AI label.
