Team
The people behind the standard.
You shouldn't have to wonder who's actually on the other end of the ticket. 3rd Element is a team of real, named people, engineers, technicians, and leadership, who own the work and answer for it.
Dawn Sizer
CEO & Co-Founder
Dawn holds an MBA in Information Technology and specializes in cybersecurity, governance, training, and policy, making complex technical concepts easy for business leaders to understand. Dawn also serves on advisory councils for leading technology distributors, security providers, and hardware vendors, helping shape the future of the IT channel. Outside of work, she's been married to her husband and business partner, Dave, for more than 30 years. Together they have two sons and two energetic pitties, Odin and Freya.
Dave Sizer
COO & Co-Founder
Dave built a career making technology behave itself for business owners and operations leaders, with a knack for translating "IT problem" into "solved problem" without the usual jargon. When he's not architecting network security or guiding clients through business challenges, he's been known to bring the same systematic rigor to a 40-year-old tabletop RPG collection, proof that whether it's a server rack or a set of dice, Dave likes things organized and running smoothly.
Anthony Purich
Chief Information Officer
Anthony leads 3rd Element's technical direction, bringing years of MSP and enterprise IT leadership experience to how client environments are architected and secured.
Tyler Brown
Team Lead Engineer
Tyler is a Team Lead Engineer with more than 10 years of IT experience. He holds a degree in Computer Systems Networking and Administration (CSNA) from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative leadership style. Tyler focuses on systems and infrastructure, mentoring engineers, and delivering reliable solutions. Outside of work, he's a self-proclaimed music enthusiast who enjoys unwinding with his guitar.
Nathan Evans
Solutions Engineer
Nathan is a Solutions Engineer who designs efficient, scalable solutions for businesses across healthcare, government, and other regulated industries. With a background in network operations, automation, and systems engineering, he brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to every challenge. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys working on cars and, as an identical twin, is no stranger to being asked if he's "the other one."
Eric Evans
NOC Engineer
Eric is a NOC Engineer with a background in cybersecurity and systems administration. A former SOC analyst and U.S. Coast Guard systems administrator, he holds CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications. His security-first mindset and infrastructure experience help keep client networks secure and reliable. Outside of work, Eric enjoys expanding his home lab and exploring new technologies.
David Molohon
NOC Engineer
David is a NOC Engineer specializing in networking and security. He combines a passion for learning with a talent for building strong client and vendor relationships, helping keep systems secure and reliable. Outside of work, he enjoys playing Destiny and Warframe, where he's logged more hours than he'd care to admit.
Connor Sizer
Computer Technician
Connor has been with 3rd Element since 2018, splitting his time between day-to-day operations and special projects. Which, in practice, means if something unusual needs solving, it usually lands on his desk first. Outside of the office you can find him at the beach or an aquarium taking in the sharks and fish.
Amanda Romberger
Executive Assistant to Dawn & Dave / HR
Amanda Romberger serves as Executive Assistant and Human Resources where she supports organizational operations, employee initiatives, and executive leadership. She is passionate about creating efficient processes, fostering employee engagement, and helping build a positive workplace culture.
The Barketing Department
And yes. We have office dogs. The Barketing Department handles morale, greets every visitor, and keeps an unofficial eye on snack security.
